https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2016/12/14/2016-29941/establishment-of-a-new-drug-code-for-marihuana-extract

I was just reading over this, haven't got a chance to. A few things I found which are positive, first "However, pursuant to the CRA, the DEA has submitted a copy of this final rule to both Houses of Congress and to the Comptroller General." So this is not even final, it still needs to be passed which is highly unlikely. Secondly, if it is passed there is still an ability for them to create patches because of sub paragraph(58) which was added after the fact and it pretty much states that as long as the CBD oil is derived from only one cannabinoid then it would still be okay and would fall under a drug code 7350 Aka compliant.

As far as the cancer is concerned, I'll give you a hypothetical scenario. If they wouldn't of created PBPMS and moved forward with humanizing the antibody and it ran into complications they would be screwed as well as us because there would be nothing to report on for quite some time. Not to mention they still haven't received a patent so why move forward when it could all be for nothing. They need to make provisions to the patent, this is what they told me in regards to that. "In this case, the examiner has indicated the application should be separated into two patent applications and clarify the claims accordingly. Attorney's and the inventors are working together to comply." This means more money to file the patents and attorney fees which would set the timeline even further back. All in all, PBPMS was created because the company would of drowned if they didn't create a path to revenue. Another hypo, what if they humanize the antibody and have positive results on humanized mice? If they couldn't get a BO or JV or license it they would be screwed because they couldn't entire clinical trials due to insufficient funds, here in the U.S. or overseas. I believe they took the proper course of actions to increase the probability of them surviving and making something more out of their treatments, going full force into cancer and having a plan B is more of all their eggs in one basket.

If they could push their patent through, Big pharma companies will jump on board. They have already inquired about it.
Bill, is not going to disclose anything until the patent is approved.
I think they stumbled into the pain patch through cancer research.
I'm sure cancer research is ongoing at UTEP.
Bottom line they need to generate income and stay focused on on Cancer.
The pain patch sales alone could push this easily over .50
It's all coming together, Bill has a plan 2017 will be a good year for BIEI IMO
