The way I view it he has no choice met coal is made for steel manufacturing and why is he referring to thermal coal with the words sequestering in the stupid website posted? Sequestering is for carbon capture and China does not care and either.
This planet has been warming up for the last 40,000 years as the ice that use to cover the entire planet has melted away and it happened way before man started the industrial revolution.
We can wait for the next mass volcano eruption event caused probably by a asteroid collision with one of the plates to mass eject particles in the sky to drop the temperatures below freezing and then the moisture in the air can slowly cover the planet in ice and build up over time. Remember the summers of the 1800s two years of snow and mass starvation, even in America in which it snowed during the summer and crops failed to grow. That was just one large volcano. Imagine if all went off!
