SHOM DD Without All The Noise

KC Holdings, Inc., a Southern Home Medical subsidiary has arranged a $180M line of credit through TB Group, Inc. The credit line is being used for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures related to developing its vital monitoring wearable systems (VMWS) and other health monitoring products.

The credit line will also allow the company to procure new contracts, attend conferences and cover general operating expenses essential to opening the global markets for SHOM and KC health monitoring products and services.

3000 of the company’s health monitoring devices have been procured by an agent acting on behalf of Coca Cola East Japan and these devices will be part of a test run with the potential for a larger purchase in the future. Payment has been received for this order and the initial shipment will go out this week.

SHOM has Taiwan partners who work to acquire specific certifications that are required by large companies in Japan. SHOM will continue to working through agents and securing letter of credits for orders and delivery of products. In many instances, this is how the system works across Asia. Intermediaries will be essential to current and future business development across the world.

Southern Home’s subsidiary, KC Holdings, Inc. continues to expand its reach across Asia in an effort to create multiple markets for the wearable health monitoring devices. For example, CEO George Chang recently visited Malaysia to introduce the company’s wearable monitoring devices that the company expects to be part of a project with national implications.

In anticipation of being a part of this project, KC Holdings, Inc. has created a wearable technology watch that can be used to detect a patient's vitals in efforts to monitor heart disease, brain damage, breathing problems, dangerous stomach virus and blood loss. This wearable technology tracks and reports patients' health in real time allowing healthcare providers to quickly contact the patient, the patient's family doctor or emergency personal if required.

George Chang, Chief Executive Officer at SHOM, commented, "This technology will provide patients and doctors valuable health related information that can be used to treat patients quickly so they can receive proper care and possibly save lives in the process. This is just not about delivering better healthcare and reducing the cost of healthcare but making a difference in people's lives across the world."

Taken from bits and pieces of their press releases and (full disclosure) some paraphrasing on my part put into a simple to understand summary. GLTA
