Is there a "There's method in [gotmilk's] madness." (definition - There is often a plan behind a person's apparently inexplicable behavior. Based on a line from Shakespeare 's Hamlet.)
I found that the best way to discover a person's true inner thoughts is through an exchange to anger that person.
For example: (1) press a person's Hot-Buttons (2) challenge a person's beliefs towards aggravation (3) etc.
But I must say, that while it appears that I am totally acting like an idiot, with intent to harm, that is not the purpose for which I do these things, but to have a deeper conversation that will highlight hidden awareness to travel and discover that certain held beliefs, while correct, may have avenues of erroneous pathway taken to get there.
Many times a person has a question, and wants to receive a direct answer that take the form of a solution.
But many times an answer (solution) received will not be understood, or received as valid, and here its possible that the answer was valid but the person's understanding of their question was faulty and unknown to them as created from pathways incorrectly taken.
Bottom Line: Engage me with a belief that I am a terrible person, and then its possible down a long road taken you may change you mind.
As Paul Harvey would say, after reading the accepted news of the day everyone gets he would speak his version of understanding and then say: "And now you know the rest of the story." (something like that to give a deeper account, or in this current news climate if he was still alive, I sure to identify fake-news)
