#84402 RE: trader guy #84366

I believe that we are, once again, redefining socialism. And, no, a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, is NOT necessarily socialist, in fact, cannot be. Socialism eventually removes power from the people, despite claiming otherwise, and gives more power to the powerful.

I know that our education system has been busily trying to re-educate and change facts and history to make socialism look like a good thing, for an awfully long time now, and the students that graduated long ago now believe things that are simply untrue and cannot and will not happen.....but, the truth will out, as always, and socialism will fail, as always......unfortunately, it means a repeat of a very painful lesson, yet once again, and many lives and liberty lost in the meantime.

They've tried to rename, redefine, revise and re-educate, but it doesn't change reality. Freedom can only remain with a moral people, people who govern themselves and not try to take from others. Socialism is the essence of governing with force, and taking. Those who try to force socialism on us tell us they are doing it for a moral reason, they want to take from you to give to someone who has less. But, any person who wants to take, any government who wants to take, in order to give, is immoral. You can only give that which belongs to you, in the first place, without stealing it first. If, by example of your giving, time, money, stuff, you then set the example and convince others to give, of their freewill, then THAT is giving and uplifting in a good and moral way.

Anything else can only be done with force and coercion and will cause much harm, poverty, death and destruction.......both of people and of society.
