Nah, he trades futures mostly. He got me in the markets in 2008 and taught me everything I know. He made a lot shorting the tech bubble and housing bubble. Wish I had gotten into it earlier. He Isn't trading much now and says he doesn't want "Obama money".
He had a stroke a few years back, but is doing OK now.
He taught me most of what I know. I consider him a genius at reading markets. He doesn't care for penny stocks but when I showed him my mexus last night he said "nice friggin call. Beers on you"..
So when people tell me charts mean nothing, "just lookin in the rearview", it shows how much they really know. if you don't have a passion for something, you cant see the forest for the trees.
But to answer your question: nah the only thing I know about mining is what I research after I happen to buy a mining stock. ha. I'm a mining novice
