It's all down to SP IMO. I think before VIX / VXX starts really moving up more , there will need to be a market down turn .

Vxx just front ran spy up, meaning vxx foretold of the spy move up, by moving up just ahead of it. I've never ever seen that, ever.

Usually vxx can be great indicator intraday for spy moves , but in the normal inverse direction, not this, not this at all.
