Secondly, the president does not do the ag's work for them. If sessions decides to send in the feds, thee president can not stop him. Technically the president can remove the ag, but I do not think a president has ever removed a us attorney general that he picked. If it has happened it's very rare. Trump knows what seasions is all about and nominated him anyway.
