To tackle the black market their is a need for large companies that can produce quality in quantity, and I have an inkling that the Liberal government's desire is to cluster LPs into large companies that will take the black market on toe to toe, and the only way is by economies of scale where these big companies will be able to outsell the black market by offering product at a gram price that the black market will not be able to compete with.... i also think that initially the Liberals will be soft on taxing the new cannabis legal industry to again attack the black market. I believe Justin Trudeau is a worthy world leader who knows he needs much more than police power to break the black. I have been reading your opinions, Dogger05, which I thank you for, and i have reader others. i am thinking that this move, LPs buying LPs, which is not the greater ROI compared to green-field build out, has a government hand behind it in the political background, and, as we all know, politics has a great bearing on the cannabis universe. So this is one of the reasons that my wife and i have decided to back the merger ... you can't beat city hall ... especially when it's pushing canna investors towards legal profits... that's just our humble opinion.
