I am well aware of how long you've been politically posting. From my point of view, Yahoo is in many ways representative of that which you proclaim to object: repression of free speech. Just how many page clicks do you think your posts have generated; and that's not a benefit to Yahoo?
Why would you in that event continue to support them in any way at all? From the farm workers (among others) boycotting something as minor as grapes to the Amish and shunning, participating in alternatives and boycotts are in many instances quite successful.

So you had reasonable discussions with them, they left. They've had exposure, right, and now they don't - and won't. The level of abuse has to do with escalation - on a good many fronts by a good many people. Can you really not accept your part?

In some ways this little power struggle of yours reminds me of GW "let's do more of what already doesn't work, and blow all our opportunities for something really better."

You have a golden opportunity to encourage and build these boards and leave Yahoo to wither away and you're squandering it.

But, as I said, this is America and you're free to do as you please, with or without responsibility.
