Paula, the numbers posted on some other sites indicate Yahoo is not Numero Uno any longer. The only way to build a site is To Build A Site. Every post you make over there encourages them to shove their lack of concern about posters ad infinitum. One only needs to look at the crash upgrade of equipment needed at IHUB to cope with the influx of Yahoo refugees. You, yourself, have opined on the loss of posters at Yahoo. Do you really believe that OT political posting will bring them back? It is my point of view that you are encouraging Yahoo and ensuring that they have a steady stream of revenue.
Which leads me to the next question. Why do we need to "respect Dave's wishes" re the TOS on SI and over here on IHUB, but the TOS on Yahoo doesn't matter? I agree that a good deal of political conduct on the part of the Bush Administration bears directly on Geron and its prospects, but a lot of the political stuff you post has zero relevance to Geron, provokes AH's like the psycho one and baghdad bob, and results in nothing but a board filled with vituperation.
No one is "getting exposure" to your issues over there. We have ALL been exposed to them. And exposed to them. And exposed to them. If anything, a deepening of the divide and polarization on both sides of the issues are what's resultant. Is that your objective? There is such as thing as a "teachable moment" and it is not to be found in the completely polarized, completely OT political posts on a stock board.
Do as you please, obviously it is America; please just note that even those of us who agree with you on many issues object strenuously and believe even moreso that it is beyond counter productive and downright destructive.
And no one is discussing Geron, again, still, yet.
