It does appear to be conflicting verbiage. Wouldn't the compound be needed to do the testing? I think the company needs to clarify.

The positive is they still intend to move forward. Now it's just a matter of timing.

My interpretation is that they are testing to see if consumers like it. It's the real world test of perception. They know it works scientifically. Now, does it work sociologically?
