You are wrong, What I may have said is that if there is a naked short position it doesn't matter if the company launches a successful product. In fact it becomes a positive.
Jim used the naked shorts as an excuse for the low stock price and ignored the fact that we couldn't get a viable product to market. Repeatedly. I had a few private conversations with him and he stated it publically as well.
