San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick will void his contract after the season and will become an unrestricted free agent, according to sources. Kaepernick has not ruled out re-signing with the 49ers during the offseason.

Huddle Up: Kaepernick has posted decent numbers since taking over the starting job and has six touchdowns and one interception over the last three games. Kaepernick can be a low-end No. 1 quarterback against certain opponents moving forward.
