From last 10-k filing. They paid "costs" which is the sAme as "fee". Over 2.8 million in 2014 and 2015 , not to mention other years.

FAA certification costs increased $1,083,546, or 77% for the year ended December 31, 2015 from $1,400,198 reported for the year ended December 31, 2014. This increase resulted from the additional costs incurred for FAA certification activities in connection the air certification process.

There is NO WAY that a RM will happen.

Everybody is just going to have to sit back and wait to see how this all plays out. I don't see a merger happening AT ALL. I do see a new airline being formed by the support of Kalitta.
