Well, if you look at the list of schedule 2 drugs they are things like oxycodone, methadone, delaudid...prescription drugs. These are the drugs the country is fighting an epidemic against. So now at this point it looks odd to put mj in the same category....then there is the trouble with the black market, if they reschedule mj on a fed level they will also have to rewrite laws on a fed level. I don't think they're willing to take the time to do that. Easier for them to leave it up to states.
MJNA has mentioned rescheduling. They don't have any rec products, only medical....not involved with the plant, just funding and developing the companies that are. I think an umbrella company, a financier and investor of MMJ startups is the perfect model for the big boards.
