RE: Palin -- There are multiple reports swirling around the internet that Sarah Palin is under consideration to become the next Secretary of Veterans Affairs in Donald Trump's cabinet, and that the two have discussed the possibility.
These aren't fly-by-night sources: it's ABC and NBC News leading the charge.
It goes without saying that this is a complete non-starter for veterans, military family members, and those who support them. Not only was she a failed governor who quit her job early, but she is on the record in favor of a plan that will turn veterans health care into a voucher program.
If this happens, we need to be fast and forceful in our opposition, and do it in a way that elevates the voices of veterans above the partisan fray. Help us get to work:
