Sad thing is OPEC is nothing more than a banana republic.
The US has turned the tide on energy.
Simple fact, energy runs industry. I agree, label product origins like in the food industry.
However capacity from refineries is still the big factor.
That has created this notion of exporting US light crude oil that our refineries are not set up to process. One way or another, Big Oil is going to try and screw us. When was the last oil refinery built? One blend for the entire Nation.
Im very torn on exporting our oil. Like what has been the big bitching the past 40+ years? Do we really want to be energy self sufficient? We have allowed the Midfle East to feed off our backs long enough. We don't need their oil, but they need our food. It might come down to that.
Will we ever see a gallon of gas below $1.00?
And where will Natural gas fit into this new equation?
Might be time to actually buy airline stocks. LOL
