I believe we've seen the big move higher in commodities since the election because the Street thinks Trump will have the backing to implement at least $1 trillion in fiscal spending for the nation's infrastructure. He's already said as much, so that will be very bullish for commodities. If his attempt doesn't come to fruition, then I suspect we'll see a big sell-off in commodities.

Gold, as the author noted, is just making it's seasonal, end-of-year, drop. He seemed to think it was a good buying opportunity and I tend to agree with him.

I think alot of market pundits are expecting to see some inflation showing up with what Trump intends to do and that would be great for gold and gold stocks.
