This short message is an intro from TRISTAR CAPITAL (Nevada) LLC, the sole owner and financial group involved with Lockheed L1011-50 Tristar aircraft (300 PAX) registry 3D-NEG that has been registered as CP-2388, effective this week.
TRISTAR CAPITAL LLC is a private financial concern that is financing the L1011 aircraft and Bolivian certification costs and for the record, we are still sole owner / lessor of the aircraft and it is free and clear, without any liens or encumbrances. Our aircraft was offered to AUXER GROUP / VIVA INTL in early June of this year but payment on the purchase has yet to be realized and title has not transferred (we are patiently await for VIVA to liberate the funds to close the transaction by the end of August).
The L1011 is now at (CBB Airport) Cochabamba, Bolivia since we ferried it down on 12 JUL 2003. Aircraft flew Tucson, AZ to CBB in 8HRS 25MIN nonstop and was delivered to NORTHEAST BOLIVIAN AIRWAYS dba NE BOLVIAN AIRLINES, a 33 year old Bolivian airline founded in 1970. The airline is undergoing upgrade certification and addition of L1011 on their AOC (Airline Operators Certificate) that is now over 70% completed as ALL operational and maintenance manauls have been approved for NEBA airlines to non-scheduled, passenger, cargo and mail so NEBA can fly charter, sub-service and wet-lease to 3rd airlines or tour operators.
TRISTAR CAPITAL LLC is providing interim JV funding of approx $500K (over and above the aircraft value) to the airline for personnel, certification, insurance, fuel, ground support equipment and infrastructure buildup. To date, there is sub-charter contracts lined up with airlines in Latin America starting mid September.
AS OF THIS DATE there have been no funds paid or recieved on the purchase offer and LOI on our L1011 but we remain hopeful this can be accomplished and the transaction completed, as there is plenty of Latin American/Caribbean charter and wet-lease business awaiting this aircraft.
FYI TO EVERYBODY AND TO "CASHSHEET" - This L1011 aircraft is beautiful condition inside and out and is in market ready and in full operational condition! It was completely refurbished at a huge cost paid by PRIVATE INVESTORS and it WILL NOT be parted out any time soon, that is for sure (HOW WOULD YOU KNOW???). Also to others this L1011 was NEVER flown in Africa and was not delivered to or operated NEA AIRLINES of Swaziland, who defaulted on an hourly DAMP-LEASE that was intended for them.
