Thanks but I'm skeptical. Sessions might just put it right back on. We have decided for the most part here that a lack of progress in the US on cannabis is positive for the Canadian LP's.

3 paragraphs into this report, the writer completes his headlines statement that president Obama "will sign an executive order", with "so predicts Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson,".

The chances are there, but I think this article is a fluff piece. It refers to a NY Times article from August 2016, and a Washington Times article from March 2016. Both articles couldn't create any more interest than that of speculation. Without further evidence of solid policy movements, I categorize this article as heavy speculation.

He may be right, but this is speculation. As for Sessions, trump is the boss. He may want to use his political capital on bigger fish considering he can already see how the wind is blowing. It's not legalization...it's reclassification

That would be a surprise.... personally, i think Trump has a better chance of legalising medical in the USA that outgoing Obama.... Trump is into money.... to me, Obama has been a marketing exercise... all show, little substance.... however, the will of the US citizen is to legalise.... but, as we know, politicians are usually prostitutes for big business, so i won't hold me breath on Obama legalising medical...
