The spousal and myself had a canary yellow classic '71 Vdub convertible as a third 'weekend' car for nice weather trips, picnics, etc. One time when moving I only wanted to pay 1 day for a Uhaul truck, so the whole week before we ran what we could in our two cars after work etc. One nice day I pressed the VW into action making one trip with a seven foot wardrobe hunkering up and out of the back seat, a small love seat on end during another trip, a jumbled mess of coffee tables and chairs on another and so on. The sky was the limit on vertical, width and depth being the only governer.
We was rolling like Dust Bowl Okies and gettin' the looks yeee - haw!
