I'm not saying anyone should be sleeping. I saw something on TV after one of the Malyasa flights disappeared. On a transcontinental flight a pilot touches the controls around 4 times. The majority of flights the pilots land the plane. They only use the autopilot to land in poor weather. They always need to be alert thru out the flight. The aren't even supposed to read a magazine.
