"Bordynuik told the Niagara Falls Urban Renewal Agency in May that his company has a contract with DuPont to recycle Corian countertops, taking the cut Corian waste and recycling it back into chemical components for reuse."

Do you think that he has convinced himself of the truth of that as well? Is Dupont the new Crayola this time around?
I guess I'm wondering whether you think he's knowingly deceiving those parties (NFURA and DuPont) or if he's just confused and thinks he can do something that he can't again.
I would never defend him, but putting someone in jail for doing/promoting something they really believe to be true and possible is pretty harsh treatment for a person who has no consciousness of his guilt ("convinced even himself that all that he said and did was the truth"). He's either psychologically flawed in a very specific way or he's a criminal. To suggest that he's some of both lets him off the hook....and maybe that's what he's hoping for.

It seems to me that this guy is the ultimate opportunist. This time it's the world's Corian waste problem that he's solving....and 1)Dupont doesn't care where the stuff goes and is happy to be rid of it and 2)NFURA gets to "revitalize" an abandoned facility. Everybody wins!!!

Some of that sound familiar? It sounds pretty well thought out to me....

Ty, my guess is you are right. It is not hard picturing him just laughing at those still defending this scam. In fact, he took a direct shot at PTOI investors in his little interview regarding his latest charade. Who with any moral compass at all takes a shot at people who believed him and have lost a fortune? That takes a special kind of lowlife.

So I am actually not amazed at what he does, I am just amazed people still defend him despite the very obvious facts staring them right in the face. Human nature and the power of denial is an interesting thing....
