#3120 RE: growacet #3119

I had 10k shares of Vuzix, in at $5 or so a year ago. Last week I got out at $6.5 or so. I did this for personal reasons (needed to raise some cash quick) and I thought I would regret it as a short term event. However, I have never been comfortable watching the management of this company. They seem like buffoons to me. And the trickle of dilution is scary. The EPS is sinking in time. Someone posted a few weeks back (you perhaps?) that there is way too much competition out there and VUZI won't hang with it. Then GE made their PR pitch that seemed to imply (but not explicitly) big revenues for VUZI in future. Now Intel has decided to part ways with VUZI.

Makes your head spin. But I am glad this AM that I am out. It is very very hard to make a lot of money with a small public company. It always comes down to the core management I've only consistently made money in the market with big-boy dividend companies (I own a lot of Intel and feel very comfortable with it). I got into VUZI because Intel got into VUZI. If Intel is getting out of VUZI, I am glad to be out of VUZI.
