GoFundMe Pages Advocating for Assassination of Donald Trump
Question 1 is where is the Secret Service? Threatening the life of a president or president-elect is a federal crimes. Question 2 is why has GoFundMe taken these pages down?
The pages in question advocate for the assassination of President-elect Donald Trump. All told there are least nine such pages, some of them as profane as they are treasonous. Here’s the text of one that fits that description (all caps in the original, along with the word spacing and unredacted spelling of the F-bomb):
WE WANT HIM DEAD!HE IS GOING TO F*CK UP OUR COUNTRY AND WE WANT HIM GONE.HE HAS NO EXPERIENCE AND HE IS A WASTE OF SPERM. HE IS ANOTHER HITLER AND HE NEEDS TO DIE.LET’S JOIN HANDS AND MURDER HIM ASAP. Thank You ??
“Whoever kill him will get all the donations and get bonded out,” another page added.
Yet another said it was looking for $10 million for Mexicans to kill Trump:
“We are raising money to pay the mexicans to kill donald trump bitch a**,” the page says.
According to GoFundMe, pages that advocate criminal activity violate the website’s terms:
