Porgie, why do you say, "If this scandal had been at Bank of America would anyone have noticed?" You're probably right. WFC was the "fair haired boy," and associated with "saintly" Buffett, while no one expects much from BAC.

I have a tiny account with BAC and there's no way I'm going to move it elsewhere because it's where most of my stock divs go. Too much work to notify each stock.

Banking is pretty damn STICKY. OTOH, as Conix says, there's a bank or two on every corner these days.

BTW, it's VERY interesting to me that the number of bank branches nationwide has been slowly declining since the 2008 period.
