My guess would be copper is up some on just the market rally, because it's not seen as being a pure monetary safe haven like gold is. Silver is not being hit real hard today either, they both are seen as having more industrial applications than gold.
Gold is seen as being more of a monetary pure play and why it's being slammed today. JMO
