Regardless of the many, many variables that affect stock performance the one resulting factor is volume, split into retail and short volume. One can discuss all day long the "why" or "how" a stock price realized an increase or a decrease but in the end volume is the results. Using that one constant across time might give traders an "edge" when it comes to deciding whether to trade/invest in a particular stock. Throw in "news" as a variable, what would be the results?
I love using my tech skills solving these kinds of problems. I cannot find anything on the net that even comes close to what I am talking about. Fun and games with numbers.
