The person who said 5mg of CBD from hemp oil will drastically help Epilepsy is clueless.

The problem is that CBD products made from hemp is junk and the other problem is all of the maladies that people are making claims about CBD "curing" or mitigating are anecdotal at best and at worst completely fabricated. Now, MCOA is trying to jump on board and catch a fading trend.

GWP is also doing clinical trials on Epidiolex to treat Dravet's Syndrome a form of epilepsy.

Patients then received a purified 98% oil-based CBD extract, of known and constant composition (Epidiolex: GW Pharmaceuticals), at a dose of 5 mg/kg/day in addition to their baseline AED regimen The daily dose was gradually increased by 2-5mg/kg increments at 1-2 intervals until intolerance occurred or a maximum dose of 25 mg/kg/day was achieved.

5mg/kg/day = 11.02mg/lb/day.

For a 100lb child that is - 1,102mg per day to start and increase up to 25mg/kg/day = 55.12mg/lb/day.

For a 100lb child that would be a dosage of 5,512mg per day.
