I have been keeping a loose record as well, under the same assumptions you listed. I have 30 shareholders listed as having 50.9% of the float. The majority of the info came from the board, while some was through private communications. You're right, there are some big holders. I have a few on my list, but I know of several strong longs that have not publicly shared their share count and thus are not on my list (nor have I pm'd them). IMO, the majority of longs on my list seem to be quietly happy about their positions, as they don't post too often, and possibly have added to their position since I last gathered info from them. I have also seen several longs not add to their position (per their repeated account of how much they hold over the course of time) but proudly get on here as they see fit to correct misinformation or simply cheer on one of the best stocks in the OTC.
I think this gets to the heart of why we see the price fluctuating in this channel. If 30 people hold half the float, then the remaining 1603 shareholders of record are likely full of individuals with smaller share counts looking to make a quick buck, realize this is not a normal OTC stock, and then sell when the rest of us least expect them to. Those shares keep moving between weak hands.
