Brand names are irrelevant if I know I can buy a patch at the same price that lasts 4x longer and is more effective, that's the reason behind the distribution to key outlets that can establish credibility.
TBH it would take a while of selling patches to fund trials in the U.S. They do have plans for other products as well, the pills would be the end game for the pain segment. I don't think they'll fund their cancer portion, if they get it to a point where it's humanized and can enter trials with the same efficacy it currently has large pharmas will be lining up, IMO.
