Gordie's wrong on two counts--the GE Aviation T25 sensor housing is the first AM part to be FAA certified, and only part of the nozzle is manufactured via the AM process. Here's a link from GE, which unlike others from them clearly state that only part of the nozzle is made by AM:

But the main points of the article are enlightening, and clearly GE (and others) are already implementing AM in a big way.
