How is your time and efforts expended any further on these type posts when you need to read them first anyway, before making the decision to delete or not?

Well first off, admins dont read 95% of the posts on IHUB. They often only read them when they are flagged for TOS or a removal review from the poster. The moderators and Mod Squad are generally the first to decide if the post is off topic and even if it is slightly but adds to the conversation flow often mods will let it go. An example of this are things like "Good Morning" etc.

In a nutshell, we're looking for civil discourse without insults or discussion of other Users. Our goal isn't to remove every slight infraction that can be found. We aren't looking for reasons to delete posts.

Having a friendly discussion isn't egregious and isn't something we're going to start moderating unless it becomes excessive.
