Becuase like the automobile industry...

If you sit on your laurels and current product lines and think that they will always be what is needed and wanted in the market, you will start to go by the way of GM and Ford.

Everyone USED to bash the Japanese suto makers for 'cheap, small' cars that no self-respecting American would ever buy.

Do you notice that the commercials DONT promote buy american anymore? People spent 20 years beleiving that drivel and got tired of American companies... 'expensive, big' cars that broke down all the time.

You have to keep improving and showing potential for growth and also move with the industries you support. That is why XLPI is making inroads into China and Asia, while the Big 3 keep moving their factories into Mexico and elsewhere.

From what I know the current version of their kit is manually operated with a switch for either ethanol or gas. They are developing a new device that does not need to be switched, or where the switch can be located inside the vehicle rather than having to pop the hood when you switch back and forth... not much R&D needed for the latter of the two designs, just more wire and a panel mounted switch. Shouldn't take long to "develope" that! ;-)
