I completely agree with what YOU did, but not what they did. By announcing to the world that they were creating that app to sell the company, they created mistrust. This doesn't bring shareholders value, it brings shareholders lack of confidence, imo.
"Announcing" makes me think that they are more focused on getting out than staying in, and it does not inspire confidence.
