It seems to me that may or may not be the case. It really depends on what this 'demonstration' really entails, doesn't it?
Isn't it possible that Cipherloc has taken someone else's hardware and modified it for their demonstration, but that the hardware provider doesn't even know about it?
twice this PR said 'first step'. Isn't it possible that there is NO partnership at all at this point. If there was, why couldn't they have announced who is supplying the hardware? Companies announce joint ventures all the time.
I remain interested but skeptical. My systems architect friend - who I keep apprised of CLOK PRs' - is still unimpressed. He says its a long road and tough sales.
2017 commercialization may simply be a pipe dream. Until we hear something concrete, we simply won't know. They mentioned having done over 1000 demos several years ago, and we didn't see ANY revenues from that, to my knowledge.
