One other part is the results are instantaneous as they don't have to send it out to some lab. It comes back on the device and gives an immediate reading. You might get a reading from 80-120 and I think anything around 100 is good and anything below 80 is bad. It's used for testing COPD, asthma and even as a secondary for your heart.
