If he does pony up, it will just add to the significant position he already has. I don't think too many folks would see it as a vote of non-confidence if he doesn't. He has much more to lose than anyone I think.
As for the timing of the feasibility study, January to March is a historical run up season for NB. I see no exception come this new year with some positive rollouts early to mid January.
