8,354,608 was not assigned for the loan, and there has been no action posted on the public pair website regarding the 4 applications out there ... other than the assigments to L1. http://portal.uspto.gov/pair/PublicPair

I think 8354608 is most important (the controlled melt pool one). Did they pony up that one also? As far as i know- the applied for ones you mention haven't been granted yet? [2016xxx...]
