#3438 RE: salasidis #3436

Its the consumer . . . and they are tapped-out and frightened.
I expect a 'neutral' holiday season (partly due to scary elections
effect . . . though either party will result in top 5% getting 'their way or the highway').

This is part of MSFT expectations equation . . . there is basically nothing to project earnings into 'wonderland'. SW customers are not totally sold on W10, and are confused as to which platform system of game stations will succeed in the marketplace. They are buying cheap and that means PS4 and its inexpensive VR gear (for now). MSFT has nothing to offer mass consumer except SW (hopefully) that works on PS4.

The Nippon went 'Pearl Harbor' in play station marketing and
kept ability to play old VG games on their new set and moved to strike with a much lower-priced VR-whatever headset availability.

Oh my . . . MSFT again left in harbor and suffers the result of 'high-pricing' the money depleted wider consumer base by demanding they are to buy higher-priced VR stuff.
Do you not just like a company that actually forces you to give them your wallet and personal data?

What a brilliant idea to overlay W10 pieces on to W7, W8, etc.
and change the screen info format . . . its free! You will love it!
Ahh . . . we changed terms again . . . to prove we did something new . . . oh yeah

IF New Congress can arise from 'face booking' on their none-MSFT cell phones (it won't happen) . . . what actual positive effect can net new 'same-old-same-old' spending restrictions results bring forth for those 'shovel-ready-jobs' promises and increased DOD spending? 100 year War scenario based on AI and automated job slots and robot warriors, hardly seems like the stuff to propel MSFT much higher. Selling the same old clouded info over and over again, to same large scale advertisers hardly bring more then a 'Triple Top' coming down the driver-less road towards us.
Maybe MSFT can strike-it-big and become insurance adjusters . . . or move into actual cyber-security that works?

Stay-tuned to see what MSFT next secedes to the competition . . .
and we could always do 'a wonder' and buy back more shares.
Perhaps MSFT needs a Ross Perot to kick some BOD chair backs.
Where is Mr. America when you need one?
