Actually today is the "Date of record" not the "Ex-date." That is a very important distinction. The EX-date is the most important date when dealing with dividends.

Since this is a stock dividend and they have not announced a pay date or and Ex -date I can buy the stock tomorrow or any day up until the ex-date and still get the dividend. If you sell before the ex-date you will not get the dividend.

Think of the Ex-date as without dividend. It is the day that shares are sold or bought "without" dividend.
