My imaginary soul is for sale to the highest bidder. I would gladly take a tithe for it. Since my morals, standards, and ethics are not dependent upon fairy tales or fear of eternal fires, I will even rent my soul to anyone who believes in them. Sort of like the licensing for use of Superman's image. No one thinks Superman is real, but they pay for the use of his likeness.
Now, if one believes in a soul, like Pence does, the selling of his "soul" has meaning, because it defines his hypocrisy better.
