They would never ask for an offshore different configured AOT XL if it didn't work.
You watch, I bet QS sell them the device but it's up to them to install.
If that happens, it will cost hundreads of thousands to ship out, crane up and install.

From my reading of the wording from that news release, I think KM has tested the AOT on condensate, and QS now knows it's impact.
