The Colorado law became active only in that state on 1/1/2014, thus the run up in MJ stocks at that time. You are correct, it's a bit different now that MJ has become much more accepted, in fact almost mainstream in some areas, and the upcoming ballot issues in several states add to the mix. This attention this time will hang on long after the election, unlike in early 2014. MJ will have become totally legitimized. Hey, it's a business now...a big business? We'll see.
