Don't think it'll be a spin off on it's own again, but remember, HIPP has a very big equity stake in UPLD. ESW is the main insider. I hope that once the BK gets cleaned up, UPLD will be much more shoppable to acquirers like an FB or GOOG, yet with MSFT hitting all time highs today, that could be another suitor too. Make the acquisition, get the patents, nols, etc. and have tax savings on revenue for this fiscal year.
fingers crossed, yet could see this close by year end. no idea, but just speculation here.
