"I too am disappointed at Opko's failure to respond. I am thinking about selling all my shares..."

Dear Desperate,

I will not argue with yours or anyone's personal decision to buy, sell or hold your stock in OPK or any other stock. That is your business and my decision to hold onto mine is only mine and my ancient bride's.

I take exception to your claim OPK has not responded to the bureaucratic decision for Medicare not to pay for the 4KScore test. I believe OPK has responded quite appropriately to an atrocious decision.

OPKO to Discuss Draft Coverage Determinations for 4Kscore® Test at 2016 Jefferies Healthcare Conference

OPK cannot wave a magic wand and defeat powerful political forces that had been doing enormous harm to some men with even an occasional fatality from the PSA test used for screening. Even the inventor of the PSA test denounced its use as a screening tool while surgeons were able to pad their income and even frighten such a redoubtable figure as Warren Buffett into a foolish radical prostectomy at an age when nearly all men have prostate cancer that is normally no threat because of its very slow growth.

I personally never had any doubt there would be a fight for funding that avoided unnecessary biopsies.

Best, Terry

I understand and agree with the frustration. My suggestion would be to be patient and don't sell due to emotion. In the article I posted the analyst suggested only a 10% hit of 4k revs due to the no decision coverage. Novitas has also not weighed in yet. Rayaldee is just getting started. There are a lot of good things in the pipeline. Q3 revs will be announced soon. The one thing all BIOs have against them right now is Hillary. This is why I am willing to hold. I would be more apt to lighten up due to four more years of Hillbama than the no decision. Just my opinion.
