FINRA reported short sales for 10/18/16 only 33.8% so IMO PTN shorts continue to be a non-factor. Slapping the Ask was 1,092,296 shares(48.5%), Bid transactions 1,064,596 shares(47.4%) & 93,005 shares(4.2%) exchanged hands in between.
FWIW as I stated previously, IMO the large sell blocks that we saw today look like warrant dumping. Approximately 71% of the warrants are prefunded with an exercise price of $0.01. The warrant holders already have a handsome profit at this pps range & aren't holding for the binary event.
