I hope better products come out sooner. 32G at only 1.6GB/sec is not good enough for intermediate storage between SSD and DRAM.

32GB is also not large enough for caching large datasets.

It is probably OK for caching non SSD HD, but here too 32G is a little small - but at least that would be a good application.

I think we really need to see 1TB+ sizes, in prices that are not more than 1.5-2x current SSD prices, while being 5-10x faster than current SSDs. That would probably generate very significant volumes.

I think that Intel has figured out that supporting Windows 7 is worth it financially.
