Seriously?
Lets consider some facts. First, he presented himself as an expert on technology? And when pressed about his claims about Microsoft, he said his source was Microsoft itself. When he claimed in his Pondering Primate blog that Glassware was the "only way to end end of life " and "run ATM based XP apps in the cloud" he was forced to delete it. And forced by Microsoft.
Now, let me ask you where he got his information if he wasn't technically competent, and didn't get his info from Microsoft? And why did Sphere represent his musings regularly on their web site?
Why did has writings and tweets almost exactly match the storyline being promoted by Sphere throughout the promotion? Why did he have unique access to Sphere exec Tassiopoulos? Who started the ANY board on this forum? Who was the only independent investor and writer ever to ask a question on the quarterly calls?
Who wrote the glowing executive backgrounds that claimed Sphere exec Nilesh Patel was a founder of NetApp, and Bookman a founder of Fusion IO? (Note: with joined their respective companies 2-4 years AFTER the companies were formed).
C'mom guys. Think about it. Do you really think he was truly independent?
